Dr. Kudsi is a surgeon at Harvard Medical School, Mass General Brigham Department of Surgery with clinical focus on robotic general surgery. He played a key role in setting up robotic programs in the Americas, Europe, & Asia and performed over 4000 robotic surgeries. Throughout his career, he established an accredited clinical and research fellowships focused on robotic surgery. He is the co-editor of five robotic textbooks with over 100 national & international presentations. He has written over 100 original peer reviewed articles and book chapters and is the founding editor in chief of Digital Surgery Journal. He held numerous academic titles at Harvard, Rutgers, Tufts, and Acibadem. He has assumed leadership roles at Clinical Robotic Surgery Association, Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, Association of Surgical Education, and founded the Robotic Surgery Collaboration, a vicarious learning platform that unites over 16,000 members. He has organized numerous international summits, taught robotic surgery to over 1000 surgeons and was awarded the Swedish Surgical Society's medal in 2022 and Professorship at Rutgers University in 2023. He pursued an MBA with a focus on entrepreneurship and co-founded digitalsurgical, a start-up company with patented technology in intra-operative real-time 3D micrometer scanning and navigation system. Currently, he serves on the surgeon advisory board of Intuitive Surgical and contributed to the development of the latest robotic platforms Dv5.
