Course Objective Despite all technological advancements, the safety of anastomosis in both open and minimally invasive colorectal surgery is based on the same fundamental principles and has shown very little change. Hand-sewn anastomosis and suturing techniques are practices that every colorectal surgeon should be well-versed in. The aim of the course is to review the basic principles of safe anastomosis, introduce and apply different suture materials and anastomosis techniques to our young colleagues. |

Course Objective This course is designed into two sections. The initial didactic section will be focused on the essential concepts of robotic colorectal surgery by explaining the tips, tricks, and pitfalls to facilitate each step of the robotic approach. In the second session, the trainers will demonstrate critical key steps for different robotic colorectal techniques including right colectomy and low anterior resection and also teach the trainees to improve their robotic learning curve and proficiency. Final session is about hands-on exercises. Trainees are able to use robotic instruments and technology (vessel sealer, smart stapler, etc) on fresh tissue |

Course Objective Hands-on Endoluminal Surgery (EMR-ESD) Course aims to introduce new organ-preserving techniques in endoscopic dissection and resection of colorectal mucosal lesions. This course is a comprehensive training event organized with the participation of international and national experts to demonstrate the latest technological developments in advanced endoscopy. The course content will include teaching modules specific to EMR and ESD, and tissue resection and closure techniques will be practiced. Additionally, preliminary evaluation of lesions, patient follow-up and pathological analysis processes will also be covered. |

Learning Objectives Participants will gain experience in endoscope manipulation by improving hand-eye coordination in hands-on sessions with ex-vivo animal models. Participants who completed the course will be able to: • Recognize and apply different tissue resection techniques. • Apply resection and suturing techniques using advanced endoscopic tools. • Know patient management after ESD and ensures patient safety. • Perform challenging resections by evaluating complex lesions. • Manage complications such as bleeding and perforation. |

Who is This Course for? The course is designed for all healthcare professionals interested in Endoluminal Surgery (EMR-ESD), especially general surgeons, advanced endoscopists, colorectal surgeons and gastroenterologists. The aim of the course is to improve the quality of patient care by providing knowledge and skills for clinical practice. It is especially suitable for participants who have experience in EMR and ESD indications, endoscopic polypectomy techniques, endoscope control and hemostasis methods in the lower gastrointestinal tract. |

Course Application Requirements * Each group will consist of 2 (two) trainees. •Being under 45 years of age. •Being a member of TSCRS . •It is mandatory to successfully complete the Endoluminal Surgery module within the Virtual Academy Colonoscopy School of the TSCRS and apply to the course with the provided e-certificate. •Working in a public education-research or university hospital. One person from each center can attend the course. •Applicants must have polypectomy and EMR experience. The candidate must document that he/she has personally performed at least 400 colonoscopies per year with a letter from the institution. •Applicants are preferred to have Certificate of Competence by TSCRS or Turkish Surgical Association |
